  • Kirk Pollard, P.G. – President

    With over 42 years of experience in environmental consulting, Kirk Pollard brings extensive expertise in site assessments, hazardous waste management, and remediation projects. A graduate of Campbell University with a B.S. in Geology, Kirk began his career in North Carolina’s hazardous waste section, where he oversaw RCRA permit applications, land disposal closure plans, and regulatory compliance efforts.

    Throughout his career, he has led major environmental projects, including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Underground Storage Tank (UST) closures, CERCLA-related programs, and large-scale groundwater and soil remediation. As President of Mineral Springs Environmental, Kirk continues to provide strategic leadership, ensuring high-quality, results-driven environmental solutions for clients.

  • Sally Pollard - Vice President

    A Campbell University graduate with a B.S. in Education, Sally Pollard brings a diverse background in sales, marketing, property management, and business operations. She played an integral role in the founding of Mineral Springs Environmental in 2004, where she now oversees accounts receivable, procurement, insurance, and health and safety.

    In addition to managing business operations, Sally has also conducted Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and has assisted in soil sampling and fieldwork. Her expertise in marketing and client relations ensures that Mineral Springs Environmental continues to grow as a trusted leader in the environmental consulting industry.

  • Samuel "Jimmy" Hair – Vice President

    With nearly three decades of environmental consulting experience, Jimmy Hair specializes in the design, installation, and maintenance of advanced soil and groundwater remediation systems. He has worked on sites impacted by a wide range of contaminants, including metals, pesticides, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum compounds. Over the past 20 years, Jimmy has successfully installed more than 100 remediation systems and managed the ongoing operation and maintenance (O&M) of over 200 systems, utilizing multi-phase vapor extraction, soil vapor extraction, air sparging, and pump-and-treat technologies.

    He has also conducted extensive field sampling at sites regulated under RCRA, CERCLA, UST, and the Aquifer Protection Section, and has been audited by EPA personnel multiple times. As Vice President of Mineral Springs Environmental, Jimmy plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness in all remediation projects.

  • Evan Pollard - P.G

    Since joining Mineral Springs Environmental in 2012, Evan Pollard has gained hands-on experience in soil and water sampling, UST removals, and remediation system installations.

    After earning his B.S. in Geology from East Carolina University in 2018, Evan has taken on a leadership role in Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, site investigations, UST closures, and groundwater remediation system design and installation. His expertise in aggressive fluid and vapor recovery events, environmental due diligence, and remediation strategies makes him a vital part of the team.
